2) It results in the fear of God - not being afraid of judgment, but the realization that he is 'other' - he's scary. We have nothing to be afraid of, but God is scary in his holiness.
3) That fear should result in a sobriety - a seriousness - about living life for God's glory, not merely in lip-service.
4) It should impel us towards seeking the conversion of people to faith in Christ.
5) They're in God's word. You dodge parts of his word, you're dodging God. Not good.
