Why you should read and meditate on Scriptures' wrath passages

1) It reminds you what Jesus bore in your place if you've trusted him for salvation

2) It results in the fear of God - not being afraid of judgment, but the realization that he is 'other' - he's scary. We have nothing to be afraid of, but God is scary in his holiness.

3) That fear should result in a sobriety - a seriousness - about living life for God's glory, not merely in lip-service.

4) It should impel us towards seeking the conversion of people to faith in Christ.

5) They're in God's word. You dodge parts of his word, you're dodging God. Not good.
