About Me

Onesimus; James Miles: This blog was constructed for two main reasons. One reason is to take Scripture and doctrines that theologians talk about and explain them in a way that makes the “big words” understandable to the average person hence the title kNOwbigwords. The paraphrase of a quote from Brady Goodwin (one of my favorite writers) says it best, “Not every believer can go to Bible College, but every believer needs Bible College knowledge.” Intimacy with God only comes from getting to know Him for who He is through His Word and by the application of His Word under the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit. The second reason is because I was asked by a brother in Christ to take over and edit his blog. This friend has moved to an undisclosed nation to become a missionary to one of the most unreached and largest people groups in the world. Due to the culture of this nation and people group we’re forced to keep his identity secret. So after Jan. 1, 2012 when a blog is signed with the name Onesimus it will have been written by him and edited by me. Otherwise all other blogs will be written by yours truly. My hope and prayer is that Christ uses this blog for His glory to edify the body of Christ.
